Somerset House is bike friendly providing covered indoor, locked overnight cycle storage for our guests. We also carry some basic tools, spares and local cycle route maps to keep you rolling.

A LIFT TO THE START

If transport is available we can give guests a free lift from Somerset House to the start of the W2W [regional route number 20] on Walney Island, Barrow.

FREE BREAKDOWN SERVICE

For cyclists en-route to our guesthouse if your bike breaks down, the chain snaps or you have an accident within 20 miles give us a call and we can arrange to pick you up.

for longer journeys

Sunday track maintenance, rail stoppages or delays can leave you stranded with your bike. Use Easy Rider to get you from your home to the start of a route, the end of a route or to Somerset House.
