A non-smoking Guest house
Somerset House was built in 1882 as a 'posting' establishment, run by a John Dibble from Somerset. Small horse drawn carriages provided a local bus service, distributing passengers who arrived either by long distance carriage or later by train.
Somerset House was used for accommodation and refreshment as it still is today.
Somerset House provides top quality bed and breakfast accommodation, with a licensed bar and evening meals from our mini-bistro. We provide 8 comfortable en-suite rooms with digital tv, power showers,[2 family rooms,2 twin rooms,1 single and 3 doubles].
